RA Prediction

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease caused by joint damage due to inflammation in the soft tissue lining the joints, known as synovium. Identifying joint damage as soon as possible is vital to provide the correct course of treatment and efficacy of new drugs. Radiographic is the most common method to assess the extent of joint damage and the preferred outcome measure for structural damage progression.

We attempted to develop a deep-learning model to predict overall joint scoring automatically in RA patients. We are pleased that we can give accurate damage assessment, which would be promising in clinical practices for powerful precision treatment of RA.
